Overview
At 5320 Figueroa Street in Highland Park, we transformed a longstanding neighborhood glass shop into a modern retail destination. The 1,620-square-foot building sits on a spacious 9,000-square-foot lot — a rare footprint for the area — offering flexible indoor and outdoor activation opportunities.
The project preserved the spirit of the original structure while bringing it up to today’s standards. Recent improvements include a new roof, a full grind-and-seal of the concrete floors, an ADA-compliant restroom, new HVAC systems, upgraded concrete throughout the site, and light landscaping to soften the transition between the building and the exterior spaces.
What was once a large industrial parking lot has been reimagined into an urban tennis court installation for Adidas Originals and Brain Dead, combining sport, culture, and design in a way that reflects the energy of Highland Park.
5320 Figueroa stands as a testament to our approach — honoring the history of a space while positioning it for new creative use.
